The Advanced Machinery & Productivity Institute (AMPI) is an industry defined initiative to stimulate rapid growth of the UK’s machinery manufacturing sector, designed to support a coherent supply chain from research through to implementation. We are exploring the challenges and opportunities of developing a UK supply chain for advanced machinery to ensure we can support the needs of UK industry.

Advanced machinery technology roadmap

AMPI has created the UK’s first advanced machinery technology roadmap which identifies key market drivers and future machinery capability needs.

This roadmap will be refined over time and used to:

Align current technology development portfolios to market needs
Shape the development of future advanced machinery development
Provide evidence for future funding schemes
