Dimensional Measurement User (DMU) Training

AMPI is funding a cohort of participants to attend the National Physical Laboratory’s (NPL) Dimensional Measurement User (DMU) Training, taking place from 19–21 May 2026, designed to strengthen core measurement capability within manufacturing environments. Accurate measurement underpins quality, compliance and performance—this three-day course provides a clear, practical introduction to dimensional measurement principles, helping participants build confidence in interpreting tolerances, datums and technical drawings.

Through a blend of expert-led teaching and hands-on exercises, attendees will develop practical skills in measurement strategy, uncertainty, calibration and the effective use of instruments such as callipers, micrometers and gauges. As part of AMPI’s wider 2026 training programme, this session supports organisations to improve quality control, reduce error and build more robust, consistent engineering and production processes.

To apply, simply submit an expression of interest—please review the eligibility criteria and enter your details. If eligible, AMPI will confirm your place and arrange the booking directly with the training provider on your behalf.
